The four course dinner on the upper balcony allowed us to listen to night sounds. Excellent porkchops and stir fry beef with a red sauce. The french fries are world's best, crispy crispy! Local fabrics decorate the tables, restaurant, and bar. A curio shop offers local made crafts and often forgotten items like hat and tote. Nestled next to Queen Elizabeth National Park, the the lodge might have an occasional elephant in the area. That did not happen on our stay. Tree-climbing lions, kob, and topi are likely to be seen on a game drive. The relaxing rooms include stone floors and walls with walk-in shower and ample toiletries. Bed show decorative local wood head boards and foot boards with mosquito nets. They offer community visits to learn about people and culture, and be sure to buy something to support the community. Attention is impeccable with a orientation on how to use all room features. The owner is fulfilling her dream to invest in the local community with part of the profits supporting the Kamame Devine Preparatory School. Geoffrey (manager) runs a staff who are attentive, polite, and aware that when I start walking to my room at night, they jump to light. Chef Moses is an expert with those french fries, mild chicken wings, and our dinner entrees. Special thanks to the impeccable attention of Charity, Avitus, and Stephen.

I congratulated the manager of the facility for the perfect functioning of the shower (the thing not obvious in Uganda even in good facilities!) and for everything: cooking, kindness and attention to customers. At night I heard the elephants' cry in the distance. Savanna Uganda..Africa .

The best way to start a day would be to do the bush breakfast in Queen Elizabeth. It is by far the most beautiful place to have breakfast and will be something you will never forget. 10/10 do the bush breakfast!
The food was amazing, the room was to die for and the access to the park is phenomenal. It is great to go to the vantage point and look for elephants. I would recommend this lodge to anyone, it is great for adventurers, families, couples and anyone looking for a wonderful Ugandan experience. Special shout out to Aspollo who provided us with excellent service.
